The city has issued a Request for Proposals for $2.2 million in improvements to Germantown’s Maplewood Mall. The Collaborative prepared a conceptual design for the mall in 2010.
“I have reviewed the conceptual design of the mall developed by your team,” Daniel Connor, a Maplewood property owner writes, “It is very good and lays down a plan of action. I am an owner occupant and in the process of organizing the stakeholders. I just wanted to reach out and let you know how grateful we are for the great work that your team did.”
Details about the Maplewood Mall improvement project and the RFP can be found here. The project scope requires public engagement, the redesign of the street and plaza, and provisions for sustainability, parking, and space for outdoor events and activities.
