$610,000 in pro bono design services, 28 completed projects, 37 new service grants, 6 groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings…
As the numbers show, the Community Design Collaborative had a busy, successful 2009.
This year, we have seen communities re-embrace the places that bring people together. Our volunteers helped communities collaborate on 10 plans to revitalize public parks and school yards including Seger Park, the Cook-Wissahickon School, Gold Star Park and Palumbo Park, and 15 neighborhood commercial corridors such as North Broad Street, Point Breeze Avenue and Arch Street.
Thanks to all our volunteers and donors who helped make our work possible!
